Established in July, 1947, SINOCHEM SHANGHAI Import and Export Corporation is directly subordinate to SINOCHEM.

Enterprise mainly exports dyestuff, pigment, intermediate, chemical industrial raw material, medicament & insecticide, bio-chemical industrial raw material, essence & flavor, textile & garment and light industry product. The import business scatters among bulk chemicals, turnoff oil, rubber & plastics, machinery & electronic product and IT product and so on. Consummate equipment and facility such as manufacturing base, storehouse, tank base, research & development center, quality control center are outfit to serve the main business. Enterprise also host the honorable title of AA enterprise issued by the Customs General Administration, title of honorable enterprise issued by the State Administration for Foreign Exchange to enjoy import preference. Enterprise passed the quality audit ISO9001:2000 issued by BSI on December of 2000 and pass the reexamination every year.
