The US-Sino Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies Training Center (PPCTTC), was established in July, 1997, supported by a matching grant from the US Department of Commerce.
As the first joint venture of its type in China, the Center offers an extraordinary opportunity to printing equipment manufacturers and suppliers, especially to NPES members, in promoting business in the Chinese market and in providing the Chinese graphic arts professionals a firsthand look at the latest and most influential technologies in operation, as well as detailed practical training on advanced technologies and workflow systems.
Trainers & Training Materials
The Center's comprehensive hands-on training program, which includes both basic and advanced levels, offers a variety of courses to Chinese graphic arts professionals.
The Center has established ongoing cooperative agreements with 37 Technology Partner companies, NPES, GATF and the Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong (GAAHK) to share expertise and resources as well as to jointly organize and manage training courses.
Standard Training Programs
The Center offers various training courses to professionals of the Chinese printing and publishing industry throughout China. The courses cover a wide range of current printing and publishing technologies, including desktop publishing applications, prepress, printing and postpress, quality control, flexography, supplies and consumables.
