Colter & Peterson, Inc. Midwest |
| Profile: |
In 1932, Eric Peterson and Bill Hagman formed Hagman and Peterson, a company specializing in the servicing of paper cutters. Working out of their small NYC location, the company began servicing and rebuilding Seybold and Lawson paper cutters. In 1959 Erik Peterson and his sons reincorporated under the name Peterson and Sons, Inc. The company moved to its current location in Paterson, New Jersey during 1984. A further expansion took place in 1991 when Roy Colter Paper Cutter Service Inc. merged with Peterson and Sons, Inc. forming Colter & Peterson, Inc. At the same time former employees of Ed Peterson Cutting Equipment Corp joined the Colter & Peterson team. From it small beginning with six employees Colter & Peterson has grown to employ almost fifty people. Operating out of its 40,000 square foot facility, Colter & Peterson is uniquely positioned as the nations foremost rebuilder of guillotine cutters and related equipment. Even though it has grown significantly, Colter & Peterson has remained a family business that is committed to a tradition of providing excellent service to its customers. |
